Player guide

Getting started

  • Sign up with your name, a unique @username, email and password. Pick your country and state and your starting category (1–6, 1 = strongest) — categories are per-region and get locked in once you play there.
  • Use the eye icon on password fields to check what you typed.
  • The app works in 7 languages — switch from the flag menu at login or in Settings.

Discover

  • Search players and clubs by name or @handle at the top.
  • The map shows every club with a location pin. On the web you can tick "Only show events from clubs in view" to filter all the lists below by the map area. On mobile, tap a pin to open the club's profile.
  • Lists show open matches, 6 locos, clinics and tournament categories you can join. Use Load more to page through.

Booking a match

  1. Pick date, time and duration — only clubs with a free court at that slot appear.
  2. Choose the club and court.
  3. Pick Public (anyone within ±1 of your category can join) or Private (you invite your partner and opponents; on friendlies you can add guests by name for people who aren't in the app).
  4. Pick Friendly (no rating impact) or Competitive (Elo rating updates, 4 real accepted players required).
  • Invited players must Accept the invitation before they count.
  • The creator records the score. On competitive matches the other players have 24 h to Dispute a wrong result — the club then corrects it.

6 locos

  • Formats: Americano (rotating partners), Mexicano (pairings follow the standings), Fixed teams.
  • Join an open event from Discover, or book your own (date/time → club with free courts → number of courts → optional category limits).
  • The creator or club starts round 1 once the roster is full; scores are entered per court each round (side A's games; side B auto-fills).

Tournaments

  • Register into a category with a partner (search them, or leave the partner as TBD and complete later). Your partner must accept.
  • Standard N categories admit categories N and N+1; Suma N admits pairs whose categories add to N or N+1.
  • Registering in a region for the first time declares your category there — the app asks you to confirm.
  • Win a category and you may get a promotion offer; go out in groups and you may get a demotion offer. Accept or decline from your profile.

Paying fees

  • If an event or tournament has a fee, a Court fee / entry fee card shows on its page with your share (the fee split between players — tournament fees split in half per partner).
  • Pay by card (Stripe) or PayPal if the club accepts it; some clubs also take cash at the desk (they mark you paid).
  • Money goes directly to the club. If the club cancels the reservation or withdraws your team, card/PayPal payments are refunded automatically and you get a notification.
  • Once you've paid, you can't withdraw yourself — ask the club, they remove the registration and the refund is issued.
  • Clubs can flag non-payers; some clubs block flagged players from booking until it's cleared.

Store

  • Open the Stores tile in Discover to browse what clubs (and the platform itself) sell — filter by country/state, search by name and sort by price.
  • Pay by card or PayPal. Platform products additionally ask you to choose a pickup club near you.
  • After paying you get a 6-character pickup code — show it at the club desk to collect your item. That single code check completes the delivery.
  • Track every purchase under "My store orders" (status, code, receipts).
  • Refunds are possible until the item is handed over — after that the sale is final.

Results, ratings & stats

  • Competitive results move your Elo rating (everyone starts at 1000).
  • Stats shows your record, rating trend, global and regional rank.
  • After a finished match you can rate whether opponents' categories felt right — enough agreeing votes nudges their rating.
  • You also earn coins (🪙) by playing: play or win rated matches, finish 6 locos, win tournament categories. Coins are just for fun — they have no money value and can't be bought or cashed out.

Chat

  • Messages tab: direct messages, group chats and club conversations (use the Message button on a club's profile). The + New button starts either a DM or a group (name + members).
  • Group admins can add/remove members; anyone can leave.
  • Block a player from a DM header to stop messages both ways. Report an abusive message from the message itself — moderators review it.

Feed & profile

  • Post text or multi-photo posts (pick several photos, crop each, preview). Like and comment on posts from people and clubs you follow.
  • Double-tap a post to like it — a short countdown ring appears; tap it to cancel before the like lands. Tap a post to open the full-screen viewer with its comments.
  • Your profile shows your avatar (crop + zoom), categories per region, followers/following (tap the counts for the lists), stats and posts.

Notifications

  • The bell shows in-app alerts (invites, results, schedules, payments).
  • Chat messages come as push notifications with their own unread badge on the Messages/Chats tab. Tapping a push opens the right screen.
