Getting started

Everything here is done from the club web app, in this order — about 30 to 45 minutes, and after step 5 players can already book and pay.

  1. Register and get verified. Sign up with the club's name, @handle, contact phone and country/state. New clubs start pending: a platform admin calls the phone you gave to confirm the club exists, and admin powers unlock on approval.
  2. Courts. Add one court per physical court (a short name) with its details — surface, indoor / outdoor / covered, wall type, doubles or singles. They show on your public profile, and players do look.
  3. Availability. Set the windows in which each court can be booked (say 07:00–23:00). Every time in the app is the club's local time. Without a window nobody can book — this is the step most clubs forget.
  4. Prices. Set the club's default fee (one price for the whole booking, split between the players). If you charge by time of day, price each availability window instead, with its own 60 / 90 / 120-minute prices; the window the booking starts in wins over the default. There is no per-court price. Optionally require a prepay (0, 25, 50, 75 or 100 %) to hold a reservation.
  5. Payment rails (Settings → Payments). Connect Stripe for cards — the money lands in your account. Enter your CLABE and beneficiary for SPEI transfers: the app checks the CLABE's check digit, and players' receipts are verified against Banxico automatically, with anything it can't verify landing in your manual queue. Turn on cash if you charge at the desk, and add a PayPal email if you want that rail too. You can also block players flagged for non-payment and require 100 % prepay from repeat no-shows.
  6. Map pin. Support places your pin (Settings → Location → request). Once it is set, the app derives your time zone from it.
  7. Your team (Settings). Add sub-admins for the desk, and your coaches — you need a coach on file to create a clinic.
  8. Memberships (optional). Create 30-day plans: a member's court fee is waived on bookings they create, up to a daily cap and inside the hours you choose. See Memberships below.
  9. Your first event. A match (seat players, or leave seats open; weekly recurring matches are one rule with a court, weekdays, a time and up to four regulars), a 6 loco, a clinic (coach + court + price per player) or a tournament (categories, paid registration, groups and bracket generated for you, plus a public page to share).
  10. Invite your players. Share the club profile so players follow it and book. Every player has an invite link — both sides earn coins when the invitee plays their first match — and your club's monthly coin table makes a good hook for a prize.
  11. What Nionic charges. A flat monthly fee per court, billed on the 1st for the previous month, with your first partial month free. Details and the payment ladder under Your platform invoice.

Courts & availability

  • Add your courts, then set recurring availability (days, open/close hours, booking horizon). New rules start with all days and all courts selected — untick what doesn't apply. Click an existing rule to view or edit it.
  • Each window carries its own price, with separate prices for 90 and 120 minute bookings, so off-peak can cost less than prime time. Your club's default fee covers anything a window doesn't price.
  • A window can also fix when a booking may start (any time, on the hour, or fixed blocks counted from opening) and which durations you accept.
  • Players can only book inside those windows, and the system never double-books: matches, 6 locos, clinics and tournament games all block the court.
  • Recurring bookings: set a court, weekdays, start time, duration and up to four seated players, and the app creates the matches on a rolling 4-week horizon. Ending a series cancels its unplayed, unpaid future matches; paid ones you cancel yourself so the money is handled explicitly.
  • The agenda shows each day's bookings per court, coloured by kind; the Today button jumps back to the current day.

Tournaments

  1. Create the tournament (dates, optional rules document, optional default entry fee).
  2. Add categories — Standard N (categories N/N+1), Suma N (pair sum N/N+1), Open or Pro-Am, each with gender and optional team cap. Each category can override the entry fee and be pinned to specific courts.
  3. Players register in pairs (or you register them — they're asked to accept, or you can confirm on their behalf).
  4. Generate groups, then schedule the whole tournament (the solver respects availability, court pinning and a 2-matches-per-day cap).
  5. Record scores (or walkover); standings use the official tie-breakers.
  6. Build the bracket when groups finish, schedule its rounds as they materialize, and record through the final.

6 locos & clinics

  • 6 locos: pick real courts (spots = 4 × courts), mode, optional category limits. Rosters can be open (players join) or filled by you, including guests by name. Rounds are generated automatically per mode, and round 1 only becomes available 30 minutes before the start — generating it freezes the roster, so nobody can join or leave afterwards.
  • Clinics: pick one of your coaches, a court, duration and capacity (up to 6). Players enroll or you add them; there's a waitlist when full.

Matches (organizer)

  • Create a match for players without playing yourself: seat 2–4 real players, they accept, you record the result. Competitive organizer matches update ratings.

Filling empty seats

  • Waitlists: choose per event whether the queue fills automatically (the first in line is seated the moment a spot frees) or works by notify-and-claim (the app offers the seat to the front of the queue, adds one more player every hour, and opens it to everyone in the last 24 hours).
  • Release a seat on a player's behalf with the 📤 button. The seat is then held for a claim on the listing's terms instead of going back to the general pool.
  • Player lists: keep curated lists (your Cat 2 regulars, say) and offer a free seat to a whole list at once. Every eligible member gets their own notification and the first to claim takes it; members who can't take it come back to you with the reason.

Moving an event

  • Move any event to another time or court. The app warns you before you confirm if the new slot clashes with a seated player's other commitments.
  • Players can request a move; approve or decline it from the event.

Payments

  • Settings → Payments:
    • Connect Stripe (hosted onboarding) to accept cards. Money from every card payment goes straight to your Stripe account.
    • Add your PayPal email to accept PayPal — those payments go straight to your PayPal account.
    • Toggle cash if you take payment at the desk (you mark players paid).
    • Set a prepay requirement (0, 25, 50, 75 or 100 %) to hold reservations, and optionally block flagged non-payers from booking.
  • Fees: tournament entry fees (per category, split half/half between partners) and court fees from the availability window the booking starts in, split between the event's players.
  • Cancelling with money on the table: when you cancel an event someone has already paid for, you choose what happens to that money — refund each payer to their original method, convert it to club credit at your club, or keep it when a late cancellation was the players' doing. Club credit is what happens if you don't choose. The players are notified either way.
  • A player who cancels their own paid booking always receives club credit.
  • You can't remove a paid player without refunding them first.
  • Non-payers: flag them from the event's Manage payments; flags are visible to every club and can gate bookings.

Memberships

  • Sell a membership plan: a name, a price and an optional cap on free bookings per day. A player buys 30 days, and while it is active the court fee is waived on matches they book at your club, up to that daily cap. Buying again extends their expiry.

Store (optional)

  • Turn your store on with the visibility toggle in the Store tab — players then see a Store button on your profile. You can add products while it's hidden and flip the switch whenever you're ready; hiding it later never cancels existing orders.
  • Products have a price, optional stock, up to 10 photos, an optional discount % and their own currency.
  • Paid orders land in your orders queue. To hand an item over, enter the buyer's pickup code (the 6-character code from their app) — that one step completes the delivery and the receipt.
  • Use Cancel & refund on a paid order to refund the buyer any time before handover.
  • The pickup-point toggle signs you up to hand over platform-store orders (products sold by the platform itself): buyers pick your club at checkout, you hand the item over with the same pickup-code step, and you earn a commission per sale.

Internal store

  • The Internal store is your cafeteria and desk counter: products players never see — water, coffee, grips, balls — each with a name, a price and, optionally, a barcode, a photo, a description and a stock count.
  • Sell works with a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner: it types like a keyboard, so scan into the box (or type the code and press Enter) and the line lands on the ticket; products without a barcode are one tap away in the grid. Adjust quantities, then charge in cash or through one of your terminals — a terminal's commission is recorded the same way as at the desk.
  • Sales lists every ticket of a day with per-method totals; a mistaken ticket can be voided (its stock comes back and the row stays for the record).
  • These sales appear in the financial report and the money summary under Internal store; they never touch a player's balance.
  • Only owners and admins with the Internal store permission see this section — tick it in People & administration when adding or editing an admin.

Financial report

  • Report tab: pick a date range → totals, per-day collected/refunded charts, revenue by type/method/status, court usage (bookings + hours per court, with a chart) and CSV export.

Your platform invoice

  • Nionic charges a monthly fee per court (250 MXN per court by default), billed on the 1st for the previous month, counting the highest number of courts you had that month. Your first partial month is free.
  • Pay by card from the Billing section. While an invoice is open you see a banner; from day 15 you can't create new events; with two or more open invoices your players can't reserve courts. Paying everything open clears the block immediately.

Messages

  • The Messages tab holds player↔club conversations. Any club admin can read and reply; start one from a player's side or message a player directly.

People & administration

  • Admins: create dedicated admin accounts (name/email/password); an owner (socio) switch on the creation form makes the new admin an owner right away. Owners hold full powers; promote a sub-admin to owner, and owners can be removed by a majority vote of the other owners.
  • Coaches: maintain your coach list (coaches can work at several clubs).
  • Trash: every destructive action (cancelling events, removing teams, admins, coaches) is a soft delete — restore or purge from Trash. Sub-admin deletions wait for a main-admin approval.
  • Activity: the owner-visible audit log of every admin action.

Club profile

  • Public page with your logo (square) and header banner (wide), info, posts (multi-photo), upcoming events and player roster.
  • Your location pin (how players find you on the map) is managed by platform support: you see it read-only in Settings and can send an update request — support verifies and moves the pin.

If you also play

  • Switch hats from the menu. Each hat shows only its own controls: as club staff you seat and remove players, handle money and cancel; as a player you join, pay and leave. Even on an event you play in yourself, switch hats to switch roles.
